Clay is, I feel an amazing material to work with. To think it comes out of the ground and is the foundations to so may things that we as humans find ourselves reliant on.

To be able to create 3D pieces is a gift, as is being a writer or musician and many other things even a listener.

I for one feel it a privilege to  be able to create the pieces I do as it is not something that runs in the family and people are often taken back when I tell them I am a ceramic artist and that includes myself. I look at my work and think did I really make that.

I am not your typical horse rider either never having even owned a pair of jodhpurs.
